You are reminded, once again, just how easy it is to copy feeds and speeds using TopSolid’s drag and drop functionality. The only adjustment needed is to the tool feed rate in order to produce a smoother finish.
As always, we run a simulation to check our work….BUT, we have a problem. The tool retract TopSolid defaulted to is a bad retract. Even TopSolid gets it wrong from time to time. However, this is a very quick fix. Simply manually editing the retract using TopSolid’s link movements tool does the trick.
