Learn how to add a stand-a-lone license when using a dongle or Universal identifier.
In order to license TopSolid (so that you can save and export data), you will need your dongle* and your license file.
*Note: This procedure works with a dongle, or when using your unique identifier
Be sure that your dongle is plugged into an available USB port. Then do the following.
- Click on the ? icon located in the top right corner of your screen
- Select the Licenses... option
- Select Standalone licenses tab
- Select Add license file
- Browse to where you saved your license (sent by your TopSolid Authorized Dealer), select it and click open.
- Click on green check to validate the addition of your license file.
IMPORTANT:
If you already have licenses loaded, you may want to remove them before adding the new licenses. For example, if you are a new TopSolid user, then you will first receive a temp license that is timed. Once your license is paid for, you will receive the perpetual license.
To remove existing licenses, just select them all from the list of available licenses, right mouse click and choose delete.
